I have always enjoyed working with students and international colleagues.
For me, working in education isn’t just about having a degree—it’s a calling. Like a duck to water perfectly describes how naturally I fit into this field.
I earned my PhD in 2014 and spent 10 years teaching at the Translation Department of Polytechnic University in Kharkiv, Ukraine. I firmly believe that English is an essential skill that opens doors to personal growth, education, career opportunities, and a broader worldview.
Seven years ago, I felt the urge to transform my work as a University teacher and my experience working with foreigners into something more…
At that time, I was on my second maternity leave and felt it was the right moment for drastic changes in my career and bringing my experience into my projects. I knew for sure that the school of foreign languages would be the best for me, since I had the appropriate education and experience of working at the university and international language camps.
In April 2018, I started teaching on my own in a speaking club that hadn’t yet been named and by the fall, I was hiring staff to teach English courses for both children and adults at ONLY ENGLISH. In the summer of 2019, in addition to foreign language courses, I organised a children’s English camp in the new premises of the Educational Centre, which was attended by children from all over Kharkiv and the region. We also cooperated with local businesses to offer language programs for employees and their children. I am also proud of the project “English for Police officers”, which we successfully implemented despite the flexible schedule required by these students. In the fall of 2019, we discovered the direction of education abroad. It started with a group trip for our students to Malta, which opened up many new contacts and horizons for Only English.
But… Then there was Сovid, the war and a lot of new challenges in another country.
Over the past 7 years, my company Only English has come a long way.
- 2018 — the establishment of the Only English Education Centre and the first study groups.
- 2019 — organisation of the English Space day camp at Only English. A trip to Malta. Business projects and expansion of education contacts abroad.
- 2020 is the year of Covid, we were learning to be fully online with the team.
- 2021 — a well-established and well-developed online education system. Expansion of the premises, the staff of teachers and education partners abroad.
- 2022 — war. I was moving with my family to Malta, then to Great Britain. The team and students are spread all over the world. We operate online at only 10% of pre-war levels. The first study abroad conference in London. I saw new opportunities and goals in Europe.
- 2023 – a new company in Great Britain. The philosophy of Only English was completely changed. We reached a new European level of business and customer service. We actively cooperate with leading educational institutions in Europe, Great Britain, America, and Canada. Our language courses have become a pathway to a successful future. We support every student.
- 2024-2026 — International Expansion and a New Stage of Growth. In 2024, Superior Education was officially registered in the United Kingdom. The establishment of the UK company strengthened partnerships with leading schools, language centres, and universities across the United Kingdom, Ireland, Europe, the United States, and other English-speaking countries. In 2025–2026, Superior Education continued to actively expand its network of educational partners and programmes, helping students and their families gain access to high-quality international education — from language preparation and summer programmes to admission to boarding schools and universities.
